My 9 year old daughter found a hard lump directly behind her nipple of her right breast. The other breast does not appear to feel the same. Can a child this age have cancer? If it is not cancer what else could if be. A concerned mom. Thank-you

my daughter has the same thing. don't worry, it's a stage of puberty. it is normal for one breast to develope before the other. it can take up to six months for the other breast to develope. it is not cancer, i assure you. a single father, randolph
